BREAKING: 6 injured in terror stabbing attack in Hadera

Initial reports suggest that there were 4 separate scenes where Israelis were stabbed, one of whom is in critical condition. MDA transferred the wounded to the hospital and security forces are on the scene.

Two people are in serious condition after having been stabbed in Hadera. A third elderly man was injured in the same stabbing attack, and is in moderate condition. The terrorist has been identified as Ahmad Jabarin (36) from Umm Al-Fahm, who holds an Israeli ID. He has been neutralized.

Eli Bin, Director General of Magen David Adom (MDA) said: From the initial report, it looks like there were three separate scenes where the stabbings took place: Jabotinsky Street, a senior day center, and Feinberg Street.

A spokesperson for the Israel police said, "A short while ago, a report was received about 2 injured people in the city center of Hadera. Police forces are at the scene. The background of the incident is being investigated."

An MDA spokesperson said, "There are 3 wounded people, who were stabbed in Hadera. Our paramedics are providing treatment to the wounded and have transferred them to Hillel Yaffe Hospital."

Update: It has now been confirmed that 6 people were wounded in the attack, 2 of whom are now in critical condition.

At this stage, it appears that there was only one assailant, but helicopters are flying over Hadera to search for potential accomplices.
