The black morning of October 7th when bloodthirsty murderous Hamas terrorists attacked the party in Reim which resulted in the death of 260 Israeli citizens, with many kidnapped to Gaza until this day.

Dor Kapah was there as a masseuse and was accompanied by his partner Lali. In their interview with Srugim, Dor tells about the moments of horror he experienced with Lali and his friends at the party, escaping to the plantations, the sights they were exposed to in Beri and the friend with whom he lost contact.

"It all started at six o'clock in the morning, we see the rocket launches from Gaza to Israel, chaos began at the party, everyone was asked to evacuate and the security guards began to evacuate everyone from the compound," Dor began to tell his story. And he continued: "I have a jeep and I started packing up because I had a massage station there, my partner helped me fold the things while alarms and rockets were going off over our heads. We stayed inside the compound for about 40 minutes until the Hamas terrorists started coming towards The party and we hear the gunshots getting closer."

50 terrorists opened fire inside the party

At this point he decided it was time to leave the place: "At that moment I tell my partner and Gilad, get in the jeep and we fly out of here, start driving in the direction all the people are running. We start navigating between all the tents and chairs and coolers, we headed towards the parking lot outside, I see My friend runs to my car, I load him into it. We start driving towards the exit of the party, I see a squad of 50 terrorists enter the party and start shooting."

Dor continued to describe the escape. "I turn around with the car, at the other end of the parking lot we see another friend, Alex Lubanov, we also lift a car into the front seat with my partner sitting half on it and half in the air. We start driving into the area, Alex guides us in the area towards Gaza from Marai, we see antennas of G A military jeep, we get into it, it is driven when it is connected to the front wheel.

"The doors are open, I see a shortened M 16 in the front seat of the vehicle, I take it and try to manipulate it, it has a stop, no cartridges, three bullets on the driver's seat and another small bag full of M 16 bullets. Loading it into the car, I see a squad of Hamas militants, Lali yells "terrorists" at me, I get into the car, we drive away into the plantations and navigate there, we see an electric pole, Alex gets out of the car to talk to his wife, the other guy who got out of the parking lot with me gets out of the car to get some air. As they get out of the car, a squad jumps on us From behind, Lali tells me "Go", then we drive into the plantations and hide there, turning the engine on and off for 40 minutes."

"Don't go where the birds come out of the trees"

While hiding in the hideout, a turn of events develops. "Alex and another had ran into the plantations, since contact with Alex has been lost, we can't find him and don't know where he is. From there we enter the plantations, hide, go towards Bari, behind the kibbutz a squad of eight motorcycles and jeeps passes, they see us, advancing ahead of me And I continue to drive and I see three motorcycles coming in front of me, while navigating Lali talks to the policeman and explains the whole situation to him and she navigates me and tells me the sentence "Don't drive where birds come out of the trees" and then we realized that where the birds fly there are shots."

"Lali gave me this information and from there we continued to navigate, a squad of three motorcycles comes to me, an Arab looks at me in the eyes and I look back, I raise my head and then he catches my partner and starts shouting "to a Jew" and starts shooting at the car, chasing us, I raise a cloud of dust into the air."

Improvised HML in the middle of hell

Dor and his occupants in the car continues driving towards Bari. "Meanwhile behind us two vehicles with submachine guns are shooting at us, we reach the main road towards Bari, on the main road we see a lot of smashed cars, bodies on the floor, without heads and hands, parts everywhere, blown brains, horrors, it's really hard for me to describe it. We drove towards Alumim At about 9 o'clock in the morning, I see a squad of Hamas terrorists sitting on the axis and blocking the road towards Ofakim. Someone is waiting for me with an RPG, he launches at me and then I cut into a ditch on the side, driving on a dirt road towards Alumim, someone comes out with a clutch "Perforation".

"I put on the brakes and turn towards Bari, the policeman tells me to go there because there are forces. We arrive at Kibbutz, a blue car with an ultra-Orthodox guy on the floor, holy books and psalms lying next to him, and we have no forces. We only hear shouting in Arabic and shots at the houses. I click On reverse, we go up to a bicycle shop located outside of Barry's settlement. At this time, we stop there and look for an open door, Lali finds one, and we enter a small toilet cubicle near a factory store and there we hide for six hours while Lali holds the head of the man after he received a shrapnel shards to his body."

While they are hiding, there is a standoff in front of the police, the parents and a friend who directs the security forces in their direction. "We were there for about six hours, no one comes. The building where we hid in the bicycle shop was a Hamas firing point, we heard them shooting. They tried to steal my jeep and didn't succeed, two soldiers arrive in a personal pickup. We hear a battle going on, and then I hear them speaking in military language, I realized it was IDF forces. Lali tells me not to open the door until they say our name, I told her it's time to leave, there are IDF soldiers here."

After recognizing them as soldiers, we came out of hiding. "And the soldiers are having a conversation with me and I told them that I have the malfunctioning weapon in the vehicle that I took from the military jeep, they tried to help me operate it, it was in the curb. A resident of Bari arrived there and started removing the bodies of terrorists and Jews, each side in its own line. Then another force arrives of three policemen and a white car to the area.

"We thought these were terrorists," Dor recounts, and continues, "They identified themselves to us as policemen. I returned the military weapon to them, I looked for another weapon on one of the terrorists, I found a knife, I took it, we loaded a guy who was still alive on the verge of dying with a pulse, I loaded them all on The vehicle, they directed us to Alumim, they told us to turn on four blinkers, honk as much as possible for them, urgently get to Alumim, there are forces there."

After arriving at the scene, they evacuated the injured to the hospitals and Dor stayed with Lali in the area until the rescue. "We stayed there for about three more hours until a Savannah vehicle of fighters arrived, they told us to drive after us and we were with our military jeep and we were afraid that the IDF helicopters would take us down because our vehicle looked like the Arabs'. Inside the cell we prayed and said Shema Yisrael, G-d was there in huge vigilance, to G-d she prayed."

"The police van escorted us with fighters towards Ofakim, they told us to put on four winkers, sound the horn and if there is fire from the front from the back, overtake us from the back, if there is fire from the front, stay behind and force us. We left Maalumi and from there to Ashkelon."

Dor sums up the horrible "experience" they had that morning. "We managed to get out safely without too many physical injuries but a lot of mental wounds, our friends are kidnapped, my partner's friends are behind enemy lines and what they are doing to her is woeful. The world must know, they are simply corrupting them. We must pass this message on that we are not like them, we are the sons of God and we didn't kill children in Gaza and we didn't abuse their women."
