After the brutal attack in Beer Sheva, in which an Arab Israeli citizen, a resident of the Bedouin diaspora with a blue ID card, was murdered and wounded at the central station in Beer Sheva. The Arab Knesset members from the Ra'am party condemns the attack in a unusual response.

The members of the Knesset of the Arab Ra'am party, which is directly linked to the Negev and the Bedouin diaspora from which a significant number of their voters come, officially announce that they condemn the attack carried out by Negev Arabs at the central station in Be'er Sheva.

The chairman of the party, Mansor Abbas, issued a statement against the attack and said in it: "Today a heinous crime was committed in Be'er Sheva against innocent citizens, we condemn the attack especially that carried out by an Arab citizen from the Negev diaspora. This is not the way of the Arab citizens who knew how to show a moral and legal civic commitment, and abhorred all A kind of violence."

In addition to him, Knesset member Walid Al-Huashla, who is himself a resident of the Negev, came out against the act: "Today's attack in Be'er Sheva is a criminal act and worthy of condemnation. This is not the way of the Bedouin society, which abhors the act and condemns it. We must do everything possible to not let hatred raise its head and act to calm the spirits". The Forum of the Heads of the Arab Authorities in the Negev also published a rare condemnation: "The terrorist attack in Be'er Sheva is condemned and rejected outright. Acts of this type do not represent our religious and social values."

According to a preliminary investigation, the attack was carried out by an Israeli Arab named Muhammad Said al-Aqabi, a resident of the Bedouin diaspora in the Negev. According to the findings of the test, his cousin also carried out a similar attack himself in 2015.
