Prime Minister Netanyahu and French President Macron spoke on the phone today (Sunday) to discuss events in the region.
The call comes after Macron called for an embargo on arms for use in Gaza by Israel, to which Netanyahu responded by calling Macron and others calling for an embargo a "disgrace."
The Prime Minister reiterated Israel's stance that Israel's friends should stand by it just as Iran stands by its proxies, rather than limit Israel's efforts to fight the "Iranian axis of evil."
The Prime Minister also stressed that Israeli activities against Hezbollah are creating an opportunity for changing reality on the ground for more stability, security, and peace in the whole region.
The two leaders reportedly agreed to continue their dialogue during the visit of the French Foreign Minister, who seeks to visit Israel.
