BREAKING: STABBING AND SHOOTING TERROR ATTACK IN BE'ER SHEVA– one dead, 8 injured

Stabbing attack at the central station in Be'er Sheva: one death and many injuries.

During the last hour, Israeli citizens reported gunfire at the central station in Be'er Sheva. The attack took place at 3 different places in the area of the Be'er Sheva Central Bus Station.

The terrorist, Ahmed Said Suleiman Al-Uqbi (29 years old) was an Israeli citizen who lived in resident of Uqbi (near Laqiya), with a prior criminal record. He was neutralized at the scene.

A 20 year old woman was killed in the attack and up to 10 people were lightly and seriously injured in a stabbing and shooting attack.

MDA spokesperson reported: At 14:27, a report was received at MDA's 101 center in the Negev region about injured people near the central station in Be'er Sheva. MDA paramedics and EMTs are providing medical treatment and evacuating to Soroka Hospital 8 injured, including: 1 in moderate to severe condition, 4 injured in moderate condition, and 3 lightly injured.

Eliya Tovol, paramedic and head of the United Hatzalah branch in Be'er Sheva, and paramedics Yosefi Asor and Daniel Levi reported: "We also provided assistance at the scene to several people suffering from anxiety due to the nature of this severe incident."

The police stated: A short while ago, a report was received at the police center regarding a suspected shooting incident at the central station in Be'er Sheva. There are several injured at the scene. The terrorist was neutralized at the scene, and police from the Southern District are at the scene.

The Minister of Transportation Miri Regev responded to the attack in Be'er Sheva, saying, "I call for the deportation of terrorists' families. It's time to prevent [further] attacks within Israel's territory."

MK Walid al-Huashla (Ram) condemned the attack in Be'er Sheva saying that it is "a criminal act" and that "This is not the way of Bedouin society."
