IDF to Dan Bloc residents: Stay near a shelter until further notice

As signs of a possibly massive Iranian missile and projectile barrage increase, the IDF has just issued a strict instruction to residents of the country's densest region to brace for impact.

With Hezbollah long range missiles being fired nearby and an Iranian missile attack increasingly likely, the IDF just issued new instructions for the residents of the Dan Bloc, the densest region in the country, to stay near a shelter or safe area "until further notice."

The US Embassy in Israel has also issued a warning to US government employees in Israel to "shelter in place until further notice."

The warning comes as both Israel and the US report increasing indications that Iran intends to launch a large scale missile and projectile attack against Israel, possibly as large as the attack it launched in April.

IDF Spokesperson Hagari said that the IDF is at peak readiness and that the aerial defense systems are prepared to repel any threats to Israel. However, he did reiterate that Israel's defenses are not airtight and therefore asked Israeli citizens to continue to be alert and be careful.
