Gabi Naaman, head of the Shlomi Council, was interviewed today (Monday) by Channel 2 here, where he talked about the preparation of the terrorist organization Hezbollah in the north. "There are tunnels in huge quantities and we hear these tunes from commanders in the Northern Command but we saw that there are forces that are taking care of the tunnels, everything that is written today I have known for more than a month and I am happy that the work plan is complex and organized, it is no longer a secret."
He also said that "the country received a great gift and we have great hope that the IDF will make order and return us to full security. Hezbollah will have to lick their wounds for many years."
Earlier today, Defense Minister Galant met with the heads of the councils at the confrontation line forum and noted that: "The next stage in the war against Hezbollah will begin soon - it will be a significant factor in changing the security situation and will allow us to complete the important part of the war's goals: returning the residents to their homes."
He also added: "A month ago I made it clear in a way that is not ambiguous, that it is necessary to establish another war objective and that is to return the residents of the north to their homes. The action that is being carried out now is actually part of the implementation of this matter, this is what the transfer of the center of gravity looks like - the elimination of Nasrallah, the elimination of the missiles, The rockets, hitting the senior officials, and this is based on very impressive intelligence and operational successes."
According to him, "The next stage in the war against Hezbollah will begin soon - it will be a significant factor in changing the security situation and will allow us to complete the important part of returning the residents to their homes. We will do that, and as I said here a month ago: we will shift the center of gravity, that's what I'm saying now : We will change the situation and return the residents home whenever the matter is required."
