The IDF continues to carry out targeted strikes and raids throughout the Gaza Strip, even while much of its force is now geared towards the north and a possible ground clash with Hezbollah.

In the last week, in a joint IDF-Shin Bet action, Air Force craft struck in Rafah, eliminating Suleiman Abu Lafi, who was in charge of smuggling weapons into the Gaza Strip and directing terror attacks in Judea and Samaria from Gaza. His brother Abdullah, a terrorist and member of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, was also eliminated.

The Air Force also eliminated a commander of the Hamas Nukhba force who took part in the October 7 massacre.

Forces of the 162nd Division continue to operate in Rafah, eliminating some 15 terrorists over the last 24 hours.
