While the eyes of Israel and the world are focused on developments in the north, two IDF divisions continue to fight Hamas in the Gaza Strip - north, center, and south.

Over the last 24 hours (Tuesday/Wednesday), IDF forces eliminated some 40 terrorists at varying levels of command within the Hamas terrorist organization, including the rocket array, the weapons array, and the propaganda network.

In the northern strip, the Gaza Division has been carrying out targeted raids in the Beit Lahiya area to destroy Hamas terrorist infrastructures, including three "beehives" of rocket launchers containing 27 launch barrels, one of which contained three loaded barrels ready to fire at Israel.

In the central Gaza Strip, forces of the 252nd Division operated on the outskirts of Nuseirat, where they located and destroyed a number of significant tunnel shafts and observation posts.

In the southern Gaza Strip, forces of the 162nd Division continue to operate in the area of Rafah and the Philadelphi Corridor, where they eliminated terrorists operating in a tunnel shaft area and located multiple weapons.
