A heavy barrage of about 50 rockets was fired this morning (Tuesday) by Hezbollah at the city of Kiryat Shmona causing extensive damage to the city's cemetery. An employee of the religious council urges visitors not to come to the site because of the danger it poses.

Many tombstones are completely broken with their parts scattered on the floor, and there are fires blazing all around. In addition, as a result of the rocket barrage a building in the city suffered a direct hit and fires broke out in several locations in the city.

Doron Schnefer, spokesman for the Kiryat Shmona municipality, spoke on the morning Israel program with Tal Meir and spoke about the situation in the city and dealing with the ongoing threat from the north, "This is the reality we have been living in for almost a year – we are here to protect the city, to protect the country," he said.
