Suspected Terror Attempt: Arab Neutralized After Assaulting IDF Soldier at Military Base

The assailant was subdued by soldiers at the base, and an investigation is currently underway.
Initial reports indicate that the suspect, an Arab Israeli from the northern town of Reineh, attempted to assault a senior non-commissioned officer with a hammer.
The IDF confirmed receiving a report regarding a suspected terror incident near Beit Guvrin and stated, "The details are under review."
In a subsequent statement, the IDF clarified: "A contract worker at the Lachish Base attempted a stabbing attack and was neutralized by a non-commissioned officer. No injuries were reported, and the situation is under investigation."
