Rinson Jose, a 39-year-old tech entrepreneur known in Oslo's tech circles for his work with Norwegian media conglomerate NHST, has reportedly gone missing. Jose is allegedly the owner of a Bulgarian shell company that played a crucial role in obtaining pagers later used in Israel's attacks against Hezbollah.
Sources claim Jose's company facilitated a significant payment to a British-educated intermediary as part of a complex deal orchestrated by the Mossad. The pagers were allegedly embedded with high explosives and used in recent attacks against Hezbollah targets.
Jose's employers reportedly contacted Norway's domestic intelligence service after failing to reach him.
Residents in Jose's upscale Oslo suburb have noticed signs of his absence. One neighbor told the Daily Mail, "His apartment looks unoccupied. The blinds are drawn, and the grass is overgrown. It's very unlike him."
Friends and colleagues expressed shock at Jose's alleged involvement. "My entire network liked him," the same neighbor added. "He grew his hair for many years to be able to donate it to cancer patients. That's the kind of person I experienced him to be."
The Mossad Connection
The Mossad's pager front company, Norta Global LTD, was registered to a residential building in Budapest housing nearly 200 other businesses. There is no indication that Jose had any awareness of the covert scheme to embed the pagers with explosives, or knowledge that the final purchaser was collaborating with Israeli intelligence.
Oslo Police have confirmed the launch of a preliminary investigation into Jose's disappearance. As the investigation continues, questions remain about Jose's whereabouts and the extent of his involvement in the pager acquisition.
