A short while ago (Sunday), following the direction of IDF, ISA, and Southern Command intelligence, the IAF conducted a precise strike on Hamas terrorists in the northern Gaza Strip. The terrorists were operating from within a compound that previously served as a school in the northern Gaza Stip.

Prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harm to uninvolved civilians, including the use of precise munitions, overflights, and additional intelligence information.

This is just the latest of several cases where Hamas and other terrorists have used disused or currently used school compounds to plan and carry out terrorist attacks against IDF soldiers and the State of Israel.

The IDF said it would continue to act against Hamas and Islamic Jihad regardless of their efforts to use civilians and civilian structures as shields for their terrorist activity.
