DEVASTATING: Four IDF soldiers killed, several wounded in Rafah fighting
Four soldiers were killed yesterday (Tuesday), including the first female casualty of the ground offensive, as fighting intensifies in southern Gaza.


The IDF has announced that four soldiers were killed and several others wounded during intense fighting in Rafah, southern Gaza, yesterday. This brings the total Israeli military casualties in the Gaza offensive to 348.
The fallen soldiers have been identified as:
- Captain Daniel Mimon Toaff, 23, deputy company commander in the Givati Brigade's Shaked Battalion, from Moreshet
- Staff Sergeant Agam Naim, 20, paramedic with the 401st Armored Brigade's 52nd Battalion, from Mishmarot
- Staff Sergeant Amit Bakri, 21, of the Givati Brigade's Shaked Battalion, from Yoshivia
- Staff Sergeant Dotan Shimon, 21, of the Givati Brigade's Shaked Battalion, from Elazar
In the same incident, an officer and two soldiers from the Shaked Battalion were seriously wounded, with an additional two soldiers moderately wounded.
Staff Sergeant Agam Naim is the first female soldier to have been killed during the IDF's ground offensive in Gaza.
The IDF also reported that in a separate incident in Rafah, an officer from the Givati Brigade's Reconnaissance Unit was seriously injured by RPG fire.
