Defense Minister Yoav Gallant is currently meeting tonight (Tuesday) with IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi and other senior defense officials to conduct a situational assessment and gauge the danger of escalation in the north following the mass explosion of Hezbollah pagers in Lebanon, according to Ynet.

There has been no word or statement from any member of the government, including the Prime Minister, as to what it intends to do following the incident, if anything. The only official response to the attack has been that of the IDF Spokesperson, who said that the current instructions for civilians remain in place and that if they are changed, Israelis will be notified immediately.
