Lebanese sources reported today (Tuesday) to Sky News Arabic that Israel hacked into Hezbollah's pagers and detonated them.

Security sources told Reuters that at least ten Hezbollah members were injured in Lebanon following the explosion of their communication devices. Shortly before, Lebanon reported attacks on vehicles deep within the country.

In total, dozens of injuries from Hezbollah ranks across Lebanon have been reported, however a security source told Reuters that hundreds of Hezbollah members were affected.

The explosions, according to reports, occurred in the Dahiyeh district of Beirut, in the Beqaa Valley, and in the south of the country.

The Saudi Al-Arabiya channel reported that Hezbollah ordered its fighters to abandon their communication devices following the explosions.

A senior Hezbollah official told Reuters that this is the most serious security breach the organization has known during the current conflict.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health called for disposing of pagers like those that exploded.

Topaz Luk, an advisor to the Prime Minister, tweeted and quickly deleted a comment that could be interpreted as Israeli responsibility for the explosions in Lebanon.

Luk is one of Netanyahu's closest advisors, he served as the Prime Minister's spokesperson until a few months ago when he moved to serve as an advisor in the Likud.

The Prime Minister's Office stated: "Topaz Luk has not served as the Prime Minister's spokesperson for several months and is not in the close consultation circle."

The Prime Minister's Office announced last night that the Cabinet updated the war objectives, defining an additional goal: returning northern residents to their homes. The statement from the office said, "The Political-Security Cabinet updated this evening the war objectives to include the following clause: Returning northern residents to their homes safely. Israel will continue to act to realize this goal."

The decision comes after it was reported that President Biden's envoy, Amos Hochstein, who visited Israel yesterday, warned Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Gallant against initiating a war against Lebanon and the consequences of such a move - according to two sources familiar with the matter.
