Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah has not yet appointed a replacement for his military chief Fuad Shukr, who was killed weeks ago by the IDF in a targeted strike in Lebanon.
Meanwhile Ali Karki, an increasingly powerful figure within Hezbollah's military heirarchy and the commander of Hezbollah's southern front, is also responsible for multiple military blunders - including attacks on civilians which Hezbollah claims were meant for military bases, according to Kann News reporter Roi Kais.
According to Kais, Karki - a man so secretive, we don't even have a publicly available photograph of the man - has forced Nasrallah to increasingly be patient in the face of some serious blunders, including the bombing of an apartment building in Nahariyah - which was reportedly aimed at a military base kilometers to its south.
As Hezbollah has repeatedly signaled it does not want escalation to a wider war, missteps like this could cost the terrorist organization dearly.
