In a rare move, the IDF released footage today (Thursday) from air strikes it conducted in southern Syria against Hezbollah and Iran-affiliated terrorists.

While it is widely acknowledged in foreign sources that the IDF is conducting repeated strikes in southern Syria and along the Syrian-Lebanese border to eliminate terrorists and interdict weapons supplies, the IDF has until now largely refrained from officially commenting on the strikes or releasing footage from them.

The first strike was launched against Ahmed al-Jaber, a member of Hezbollah's Golan unit, in the Quneitra area. The second, in the al-Rafid area, was conducted against a terrorist who planned attacks against Israel at Iran's direction, according to the IDF.
