Houthi spokesperson Yahya Saree announced Tuesday that rebel forces, with Iranian support, successfully downed an American MQ-9 drone conducting "hostile reconnaissance and combat operations" over Yemen’s Saada province.
In a video statement, Saree highlighted that this was the second MQ-9 drone shot down within 72 hours, bringing the total to nine since the Houthis "officially joined the Palestinian cause."
Saree reiterated that Houthi forces would "continue to act until the attacks stop and the blockade on Gaza is lifted." He also emphasized the "unity of the fronts operating against Israel" and praised Jordanian terrorist Maher Dhiab Hussein al-Jazi, who killed three Israelis in a terror attack at the Allenby Crossing on Sunday.
