IDF anti-polio vaccination campaign almost done - only one area left

A few days after launching it, the effort to protect Palestinian civilian children against polio is nearly completed, according to the Hamas-run Ministry of Health.

The effort to vaccinate Palestinian children against polio is almost completed, and only the northern Gaza area remains to be vaccinated, according to the Hamas-run Ministry of Health.

Traces of polio had previously been detected in the area following the intensive urban fighting, leading the IDF to launch an anti-polio effort in coordination with humanitarian organizations in the humanitarian zone in the western Gaza Strip.

The campaign, which started on September 1, was expected to last about ten days, so it appears it continues to be meeting its schedule.
