The police announced that as part of Operation 'Emergency Blockade' against illegal weapon possession, detectives from the Jaffa Police Station, along with Border Police officers, conducted a search in Jaffa and arrested three suspects. During the search, police found guns, gun magazines, a grenade, and a significant amount of ammunition.

Chief Superintendent Kobi Abutbul, head of the Jaffa Police, stated: "Jaffa police officers are working around the clock to locate and seize illegal weapons used by criminal elements for dangerous criminal activities, which undermine the sense of security for residents in the streets of Jaffa. We will continue to pursue the criminals and bring them to justice." The three suspects, residents of Jaffa and Ashkelon, were arrested and brought in for questioning at the Jaffa Police Station.
