The IDF just issued evacuation orders a short time ago (Monday) to residents of an area of the northwestern Gaza Strip, following Hamas rocket fire at Ashkelon last night.

The IDF Spokesperson in Arabic, who publicized this map on X, stated that this area has been evacuated several times before, and is considered a dangerous combat zone. An IDF operation in the area is likely in the coming days.

The IDF reported yesterday that two rocket launches were identified over the Ashkelon area. One of the rockets was intercepted and the other fell in the sea. No casualties were reported.
