Yohanan Shachori, Yuri Birnbaum, and Adrian Marcelo Podsesmer worked together at the Allenby Bridge and were murdered in a close-range attack while unarmed, as they unloaded the truck of the Jordanian terrorist.

Marcelo’s wife told Kan Reshet Bet about the good relationships he had at work and mentioned that today is their wedding anniversary. Emiliano Abramovich, who worked with all three, said: “They were excellent people, and I am deeply saddened.”

Sebastian, the son of Adrian Marcelo Podsesmer, who was murdered at the Allenby Bridge, was at the Nova party: “I broke down the entire way to my dad's house. I screamed, I hurt. It's surreal — less than a year since I survived Nova, and now I’ve lost him,” he said today (Monday) on the program *Seder Yom* on Kan Reshet Bet. “Amazing people have been lost this year. Many lights," he added. "My father was one of them. We were supposed to celebrate our birthdays together next month, as they are two days apart — like every year. I wanted to introduce him a bit to the world of parties. He raised an eyebrow at the lifestyle I chose, but he accepted and embraced it, even though he disagreed with many things. He was an amazing father who tried to do everything for his kids and his family.”

Sebastian worked at the Allenby Bridge for a short time and knew Yuri Birnbaum and Yohanan Shachori, who were also killed: “They were my dad's friends. I knew them personally, worked with them at the bridge for a while. Whenever we needed something, he would come straight away to help. It was really important to him that we be well. Wherever he went, he left his mark. Everyone there knows him well, really well."

Marcela, the wife of Adrian Marcelo Podsesmer, who was murdered yesterday in the Allenby Bridge attack, shared her thoughts this morning (Monday) on the *Kalman Lieberman* program on Kan Reshet Bet: "He worked there for 14 years, and everyone loved him. He would receive gifts from Jordanian drivers and told me that they always asked for him specifically to unload their trucks because he did it the best and most orderly way. And then something like this happens. It's incomprehensible. Today, two years ago, we got married."

"He worked as a forklift operator, unloading goods from the trucks," she said. "For 14 years, everyone loved him. Even the Jordanian drivers were his friends, and then suddenly, this happens. It's unimaginable. There was no explanation. We spent all day running around trying to find out where he was. I heard about it on one of the networks on TV. Right away, they said the three of them were murdered.”

"I knew he was working there. The moment they said they had been killed, I knew there was no point in going to Jerusalem to look for him," she continued. "I tried calling, and they hung up on me. I sent messages and begged them to tell me what was happening. The whole trip to Jerusalem, I knew I was going for nothing. Then the welfare services called me, and I understood quite quickly."

It was a ticking time bomb

Emiliano, who worked at the Allenby Bridge, spoke about the 3 murdered men this morning on Kan Reshet Bet. He said that they were alll "excellent people, all of them [were] fathers. It’s very sad for me. Yohanan was a very interesting man, a righteous person. Yuri was an amazing man, raising his three children alone, always with a smile. And closest to me was Marcelo, also an Argentinian. A very good and funny person."

"It's a very hot zone," he said. "There was always security screening, and the security there is good, with soldiers — but it was a ticking time bomb. It's a very sensitive place. There are always smuggling attempts, and there was tension between the Jordanians and Palestinians."

"There are always warnings that at any moment, a terrorist could come from Jordan, but [when] the Jordanian driver who comes every day, and you already know [him] personally — you think, 'What could really happen?'” he shared. “I’m in shock that these three people woke up in the morning, went to provide for their families, and were murdered like this."
