MK Nissim Vaturi, Deputy Speaker of the Knesset and member of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, was interviewed this morning (Sunday) on Radio 104.5FM and said: "It will be good when we change the conception – moving the Defense Minister, it seems there is no choice." He further stated: "It’s time to show what we’re worth; if we’re not acting, maybe it’s time to go back to Uganda. This is a war of no choice, although I am against changing a Defense Minister during wartime, but there’s no choice when the North is falling apart and we’re stuck with the conception that the Defense Minister is maintaining it while the Chief of Staff is still in his position – that’s the big mistake."
Vaturi, a resident of the North, was asked if life in the North is normal and responded: "Our children constantly have to run to the shelter. We must change the conception." Vaturi addressed the issue of freeing the hostages and said: "We want to release the hostages and then go to war in the North. If Nasrallah wants to see the postponement extended, and to the depth, we know exactly where he is sitting – that’s the direction, and it will happen in the coming days. It’s possible we will take Nasrallah down if there’s no other choice," he added. When asked about when Sinwar will be eliminated, he said: "We will also reach him. He remains isolated in Hamas command."
