From negotiations to bloodshed: The consequences of releasing terrorists 

How recent hostage deals have led to increased violence and attacks.

Two Palestinian terrorists who were released in the hostage deal of November 2023, were eliminated in less than five days. One of them after he had already managed to carry out an attack and the other during an attempt to attack IDF forces tonight (between Wednesday and Thursday).

On Monday this week, a 60-year-old Israeli was shot in a garage in the city of Qalqilya by the terrorist Tarek Daud, who was released in the hostage deal in November. Brigadier Ephraim Nathaniel Shamka, received information that the terrorist escaped back to Tulkarm. He ran towards the terrorist and eliminated him at close range.

Tonight, during an operation by IDF forces at Camp Balata in Nablus, two terrorists who tried to harm the fighters were killed in an airstrike. One of them is Wael Masha, a former prisoner who was released in one of the rounds as part of the deal with Hamas in November.
