Relentless Fire: IDF and Shin Bet Ignite Jenin

IDF, Shin Bet, and Border Police forces are engaged in a focused and precise operation to combat terrorism in the Jenin area of the Menashe Brigade. So far in the Jenin operation, 14 militants have been eliminated in exchanges of fire and airstrikes, around 20 weapons have been seized, and 25 militants have been arrested. Additionally, an underground weapons cache has been discovered, and about 30 explosives have been neutralized, some of which were planted under roads to target security forces and endanger civilians in the area.

During the operation, militants were identified throwing explosives from the roof of a mosque at the forces. This serves as further evidence of militants using civilian infrastructure to carry out terror activities.
