Israeli sources speaking to Israel Hayom sharply criticized President Biden's remarks to the press today (Monday), per which Prime Minister Netanyahu was not doing enough to secure a hostage deal.

According to the sources, "it is strange that the American President is pressuring Prime Minister Netanyahu who agreed to the American proposal already in May 31 and the American bridging proposal of August 16, and not Sinwar who continues to reject every agreement."

They added that "the American President's words are particularly dangerous as they are said a few days after Hamas executed six Israeli hostages, including an American citizen."
