Smotrich: Pay will be docked from whoever strikes tomorrow

The Finance Minister, who called the strike "political" and "illegal" instructed the wages department of the Finance Ministry not to pay those who strike tomorrow.

Finance Minister Betzalel Smotrich, who called the planned general strike tomorrow in favor of a hostage deal "political" and "illegal," announced tonight (Sunday) that he instructed the wages department of the Finance Ministry to dock pay from any government worker going on strike, according to Israel Hayom.

Smotrich has also turned to the Attorney General to seek to block the strike by appealing to the Labour Court for an injunction.
