Iran attack on Israel, Rocket target

Report: Iran Alters Plans; Here’s How Its Attack Will Likely Unfold

Experts believe that Iran’s response will be more targeted compared to the extensive attack in April and will likely focus on a "soft target" such as an embassy or another facility in Europe, Africa, or South America.

The New York Times reported this evening that Iran has not abandoned its intention to avenge the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and is seeking a way to respond moderately to maintain deterrence without risking a full-scale war.

According to a report on Israel Hayom, Tehran is facing a significant dilemma. On one hand, a lack of response is seen as an existential threat to the Iranian leadership. On the other hand, a retaliatory action could lead to dangerous escalation.

Experts estimate that Iran’s response will be more focused than the extensive attack in April and will likely target a "soft target" such as an embassy or another facility in Europe, Africa, or South America.

Additionally, it is anticipated that Iran will implement its plans within the coming days, over a month after Haniyeh’s assassination and almost a week after Hezbollah’s response to the killing of its chief of staff, Fuad Shukur.
