At a situational assessment of Southern Command, the IDF assesses that Hamas' Rafah brigade has ceased to function as a cohesive unit, according to a report by Ynet.

Per the assessment, some of the Hamas soldiers in Rafah are trying to flee north towards the al-Mawasi humanitarian zone, and that the IDF is ambushing such efforts as it continues into the western parts of Rafah.

Furthermore, the IDF has destroyed about 150 tunnels in the Philadelphi area, which it currently assesses at 80% of tunnels overall.
