FM Katz responds to Hamas claims of releasing hostage al-Qadi "because he was a Muslim"

Foreign Minister Israel Katz responded today on X (Tuesday) to Hamas' claim that Farham al-Qadi was released by Hamas because of his Muslim faith rather than being freed by IDF forces.

In his statement, Katz said that "The Palestinian parade of lies in Gaza now claims that Hamas 'released Qaid Farham Alkadi because he is a Muslim.' So why did they abduct and murder other Muslims, knowing full well their identities? Why didn't they release live Muslims or their bodies for 11 months, and why aren’t they doing so now?"

To this, he answered, "Because the Hamas terror organization views Muslims living in Israel as collaborators deserving death. We save lives; they take them. We will continue to act until all the hostages are freed."
