Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich welcomed the decision today (Tuesday) by the commander of the 91st Division to remove Adi Angert from service in the division after claiming on X that her brigade commander supported genocide and that religious Zionists were a "cult of death eaters."

Smotrich said that "there is no room for such statements in the IDF against the brigade commander and against members of religious Zionism who are at the front and who are sacrificing their lives for the Jewish People at incredible rates. It is good that the IDF is drawing a red line against the campaign of incitement and demonization towards religious Zionism."
