IDF Chief of Staff: "The work is not done" in fighting Hezbollah

IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi gave a statement after meeting with the US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to summarize the war situation.

Following his meeting with the US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevy gave a statement to the public today (Monday) thanking the United States for its firm stance in favor of Israel and the alliance between the two countries.

He further said that "We are very determined to continue and hurt Hezbollah, eliminate more and more commanders, and deny it assets and capabilities - we aren't stopping."

Conceding that "Hezbollah has more capabilities and the work is not yet done. Our mission is clear - to return the residents of the north to their homes in safety, and the IDF is working to that end round the clock."
