Following National Security Minister Ben Gvir's statement to Army Radio today (Monday) that he would like to build a synagogue on the Temple Mount by calling for mass resistance by Arabs in Judea and Samaria and within Israel.

In its official statement, as reported by Israel Hayom, Hamas said "what minister Ben Gvir revealed this morning, of his intent to build a synagogue within the al-Aqsa Mosque, represents a dangerous statement, which reflects the intentions of the occupation government towards the al-Aqsa Mosque."

They then called for action: "We call on the members of our people in the West Bank and the internally occupied to generally enlist for al-Aqsa and to protect its courtyards, and defeating the plans of the occupation."
