The terrorist organization Hezbollah announced this morning (Sunday) that it has begun the first phase of its response to the killing of its chief of staff, Fuad Shukr. They stated that the attack included launches toward IDF bases and facilities.

In a statement issued by the organization, it was mentioned that 320 rockets were fired in the initial phase of the attack.

Following the information about the impending attack, the Israeli Air Force carried out a preemptive strike early in the morning against Hezbollah targets, after the terrorist organization planned to initiate a broad attack at 5:00 AM towards Tel Aviv. In response to these attacks and according to the situation assessment conducted by the Home Front Command, life-saving instructions were distributed in some areas of the country. The Defense Minister declared a special state of alert in the home front across the country for the next 48 hours.
