Three wanted individuals were arrested in the village. During a counter-terrorism operation in the village of Anata, part of the Benjamin Brigade, Shaked Battalion fighters were engaged in arresting suspects and locating weapons.

During the operation, thanks to the Shaked Battalion’s pursuit, numerous weapons were discovered and confiscated. These weapons were hidden throughout the family’s home, including inside a wardrobe, in a storage room, and under piles of garbage. Among the items found were M16 rifles, pistols, magazines, vests, and more.

Additionally, the fighters arrested three wanted individuals in Anata during the night, and seven more in Tekoa, part of the Etzion Brigade, and Hebron, part of the Judea Brigade. During the night, IDF soldiers also eliminated a terrorist in a pre-emptive operation while he was shooting from the Jenin area towards a military outpost in the Menashe Brigade. The arrested suspects and confiscated weapons were handed over to security forces for further processing, with no injuries reported among our forces.

Rotem Platoon Commander of the Shaked Battalion, Captain Ido, stated: “In determined activity, numerous weapons intended for terrorism were found. Rotem Platoon will continue to thwart terrorism and protect the residents of the area.”
