According to journalist Doron Kadosh, Hezbollah intended to target the Mossad headquarters in the Glilot area and a Unit 8200 base. There was no known plan to attack other strategic targets such as the military headquarters in Tel Aviv or Ben Gurion Airport.

The IDF spokesperson reported that approximately 210 launches and 20 UAVs from Lebanon towards northern Israel were detected. Some were intercepted, while others landed in various areas or open spaces.

In response, the Israeli Air Force deployed about 100 fighter jets, guided by the Northern Command and Intelligence Division. They attacked and destroyed thousands of Hezbollah launch sites in southern Lebanon, most aimed at northern Israel, with some directed towards central Israel. Over 40 launch areas were targeted.

The operation comes amid ongoing tensions between Israel and Hezbollah following recent events in the region.
