Senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan stated that Sinwar is actively participating in all matters related to the ceasefire talks.

In an interview with Reuters, Hamdan claimed that Sinwar "makes decisions regarding the deal." Hamdan noted that "special mechanisms have been established to ensure continuous communication with Sinwar," and that these mechanisms are "operating smoothly."

Additionally, Hamdan expressed scepticism about reports of progress in the Gaza ceasefire talks. He claimed that these reports "create confusion" and contradict what has been presented to Hamas.

Hamdan also accused that the proposal mentioned by Blinken "does not match what was presented to Hamas or what was agreed upon."
