The Lebanese Al-Mayadeen news outlet, affiliated with Hezbollah, reported that Hezbollah operatives prevented a raid of IDF forces into Lebanese territory.

According to the report, Hezbollah operatives attacked "using rocket weapons and artillery shells", an Israeli force that tried to raid the Hadab Ita forest. It also reported that as a result of this action, IDF forces retreated back to Israeli territory, and that IDF forces were injured.

It has been 3 months that the IDF has been conducting exercises simulating combat in a forested area, as part of the preparation for combat in Lebanese territory. In May, a divisional exercise was reported in the Western Galilee, simulating combat in Lebanon, in which infantry, armor and engineering forces participated, practicing operational cooperation in mountainous and complicated areas using camouflage and combat techniques.
