Hezbollah attack, Israel reports

In Israel's assessment: When this happens – Hezbollah will strike with force

Israeli sources estimate that the terrorist organization Hezbollah will launch an attack when it detects a crisis in the negotiations, which have now moved to Cairo. The attack is expected to be extensive and target central Israel.

According to information reported by Itamar Eichner on Ynet, the report further notes that senior security officials have stated that the anticipated Iranian or Hezbollah revenge attack does not necessarily have to come in the form of a missile or drone strike, as expected. It could also manifest as attempts to assassinate Israeli figures, including ministers, Knesset members, senior IDF officers, both past and present, and former high-ranking officials from the Mossad and Shin Bet. In response to this concern, the Shin Bet has increased its alert level and issued stringent guidelines to all relevant agencies.

According to the report, while Nasrallah may not be seen as having sabotaged the deal, he will have justification for launching an attack from his perspective.
