Beilinson Hospital stated: "After extensive efforts and a struggle for his life, the doctors in the trauma unit at Beilinson, part of the Clalit Group, were forced to pronounce the death of the man who was critically injured in the attack in Samaria. May his memory be a blessing."

Earlier, it was reported that an Arab terrorist attacked a Jewish individual with a hammer near the settlement of Kadumim in Samaria. Large IDF forces are attempting to locate the terrorist, who has since fled the scene.

Shira Popkin, a paramedic from United Hatzalah who was the first to arrive at the scene, reported: "The victim, approximately 40 years old, suffered severe injuries and trauma to his head. I provided initial medical assistance in the factory yard with the help of a military doctor, who then evacuated him from the scene in an IDF armoured vehicle to an IDF intensive care unit, which transported him to the hospital. At that stage, his condition was defined as serious."
