Foreign Minister Israel Katz celebrated the Norwegian decision to shut down its Palestinian Authority offices in a post on X today (Sunday).

Katz said that "Norway announced the closure of its office in the Palestinian Authority yesterday following my decision to deny the diplomatic status of eight of its workers working opposite the Palestinian Authority, due to Norway's recognition of a Hamas-Palestinian state after the massacre of October 7 and its support for the issuing of arrest warrants against Prime Minister Netanyahu and Israeli senior officials."

He ended with a warning: "Those who act against us, we will act against them. We will continue to preserve the State of Israel's national standing and honor."
