According to their claims, prisoners in the Israeli Ofer Prison receive water only for 45 minutes throughout the entire day. Arabs are publishing today (Sunday) data which they say was revealed in the Prisoners Affairs Committee and by former prisoners after one of its lawyers visited the inmates.

They claim that prisoners in Ofer Prison receive water only for 45 minutes every 24 hours, with the prison housing no fewer than 1,500 prisoners, including detainees from Gaza, and the electricity is cut off from ten in the evening until noon the following day.

It is worth noting that several months ago, human rights organizations began complaining about the conditions of the prisoners in the Sde Teyman facility. Following petitions to the High Court, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced that only 200 prisoners would remain in the Sde Teyman facility, where prisoners of the Nukhba faction are held. Additionally, it was stated in a submission to the High Court that "in April, a new military detention facility was opened at Ofer Camp, with significant investment and infrastructure upgrades. This facility now holds a significant number of detainees under military law until they are transferred to Israel Prison Service facilities."

In its final statement, the prosecution noted: "It should be mentioned that, currently, steps are being taken to upgrade the detention facility, including the establishment of a new unit, which will bring about changes and improvements in conditions. These actions are expected to be completed within a few weeks."
