The Kiryat Shmona municipality released a report on the launches that occurred this afternoon and announced that, after intercepting one rocket, four rockets were launched without any alerts.

According to the Kiryat Shmona municipality, after reviewing the events from earlier today, it can be summarized that in the late afternoon at 15:46, an alert was activated in the city due to a single rocket launch toward the area. According to the IDF, the solitary rocket was intercepted by the IDF's air defence forces. A few minutes later, at least four rockets were reportedly launched from southern Lebanon toward the city area, without any alerts being activated.

The municipality stated that there were no injuries, but damage was caused to buildings, businesses, property, and infrastructure. Additionally, they emphasized that residents of Kiryat Shmona who remain in the city should stay close to protected areas and avoid unnecessary movement around the city until further notice.
