Israel message to US, Iran Retaliation threats, Rocket attack

Change in Direction: Israel’s Sharp Message to the U.S.

Israel is shifting its stance on how it will respond to Iranian attacks, making it clear that any strike from Iranian territory, even without casualties, will be met with a disproportionate Israeli retaliation.

Amid preparations for a potential Iranian attack, Israel is refining its message about its response. Previously, Israel had indicated that any harm to civilians would lead to an indiscriminate attack, but now the rhetoric has become more severe.

According to a report by Galei Tzahal, Israel has communicated to the U.S. and European countries that any direct attack from Iranian soil will result in an Israeli strike on Iranian territory. Unlike previous statements that addressed scenarios involving civilian casualties, the current message emphasizes that regardless of the attack's outcome, Israel will retaliate against Iran.
