A heartbreaking discovery was made in Tel Sheva as 12-year-old Faraj Assem, reported missing for a day, was found dead inside a refrigerator near his home.

Faraj was last seen near his residence in Tel Sheva. Concern for his safety prompted police to distribute his picture and information at midnight, noting he might be in the Tel Sheva area or in the Tel Sheva Jerbaa or Abu Kaf areas.

The search came to a tragic end the following morning when Faraj was found lifeless inside a refrigerator in close proximity to his home. Police have stated that there is no suspicion of criminal activity in this case.

Authorities believe Faraj may have entered the refrigerator himself but became trapped inside and was unable to escape, leading to his suffocation.

To determine the exact cause of death, police have announced that Faraj's body will be sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy.
