With the continued tension and fear of an Iranian strike in response to the elimination of Ismail Haniyeh in Teheran, IDF Spokesperson Daniel Hagari gave a statement to the press today (Monday), addressing the security situation, as well as the IDF's preparedness on the various fronts.

"Over the last few days, we have been following our enemies and developments in the Middle East, with an emphasis on Iran and Hezbollah," Hagari said. "At the same time, we are attacking in Lebanon all day, even today. We attack every threat we identify, and are ready to intercept threats in real time. We take our enemies' statements seriously, and therefore we are prepared at peak readiness in defense and offense, and we will operate based on the instructions of the political leadership."

"Readiness and alertness are important for us, but alongside this at this stage there is no change in the policy of Rear Command. If there is a change, we will immediately notify," he said.
