Israels' red line, Beirut next Gaza, Iran-Lebanon attack
Red Line: If Nasrallah Attacks the Next Target – Lebanon Will Become Gaza
Security and strategic affairs analyst Faiz al-Asmar stated today that Israel has a red line regarding Hezbollah's response and warned that if Hezbollah attacks the next targets, Beirut could become like Gaza.

In an interview today (Monday) on Saudi channel Al-Hadath, Faiz al-Asmar claimed that Israel has set red lines concerning Hezbollah's and Iran's attacks on sensitive sites in the country.
At the beginning of the interview, reported by Ma'ariv, he said: "Regarding the situation on the ground, it can be said that Iran and Hezbollah's delay in responding to the deaths of Haniya and Fuad Shakar so far has given Israel and the U.S. an opportunity to strengthen their positions and utilize all available means. There is now a warship that has recently arrived in the area. All this has allowed Israel and the U.S. to enhance their power and deploy the necessary defensive measures to repel any attack. Therefore, Iran has effectively lost the most significant element in modern warfare, which is the element of surprise."
He then emphasized, "Any attack on Israel will impact the existing rules of engagement. Israel bombards villages and towns in southern Lebanon daily, meaning that the rules of engagement are not clearly defined. However, if Hezbollah escalates attacks on Israeli bases such as the Military Intelligence headquarters, the Ministry of Defense headquarters, or even the 'Karish' oil field in the Mediterranean, Israel might respond decisively against Hezbollah and lead Beirut into a conflict similar to the Gaza war."
