Unusual Incident: Child in Critical Condition After Scorpion Sting

A 7-year-old boy was taken in serious condition to Soroka Medical Center after being stung by a scorpion near the Tlal Arad junction. Magen David Adom teams were dispatched to the Tlal Arad area after the boy, approximately seven years old, was stung by a scorpion and his medical condition deteriorated rapidly.

The boy was stung by a scorpion in the Negev region near the Tlal Arad junction. Magen David Adom teams rushed to the scene after the boy's condition worsened quickly.

Upon arrival, Magen David Adom teams began administering medical treatment and preparing for transport to the hospital. Paramedics and medics at the scene described the child's condition as serious and initiated evacuation to Soroka Medical Center while he remained fully conscious. His condition was classified as serious due to a severe reaction to the scorpion sting. The type of scorpion involved has not yet been identified. The 7-year-old was admitted for further treatment at Soroka Medical Center in Be'er Sheva.
