According to a report by Kan News, Israel has revised its recent situation assessment and is preparing for a larger Iranian offensive compared to the drone attack that occurred in April. The report indicates that new assessments in Israel suggest that the Iranians are determined to strike in the coming days, despite initial impressions that Iran was backing down from its threats due to diplomatic pressures.

Additionally, the security establishment understands that Iran has reverted to its commitment made immediately after the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh on Tehran's soil. According to the Iranians, they intend to retaliate and attack more than during the drone strike, which was carried out with guided missiles targeting IDF bases, including the Negev Air Force base.

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said earlier today, "The enemies from Iran and Hezbollah are threatening to attack us in ways they haven't used before – anyone who does so should expect retaliation from us in ways we haven't employed before. We have significant capabilities, and I hope they will reconsider and avoid provoking a war on additional fronts."
